The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints I have been a member of this church since I was 8 years old. No matter where you travel in the world, you know you're in a family place when you attend a Latter-day Saint chapel. Cultures and clients may vary, but the gospel is preached with the same doctrine within the walls of these buildings. I attend a congregation like this to worship God and learn more about him. I am part of the Sacrament that reminds me of all that Christ has done for me. I am grateful to learn more about the plan of salvation of our Heavenly Parents. Some of the most unique blessings I receive for living the gospel are the peace of conscience, the feeling of my Savior's love, the faith to advance in this difficult world, the strength to overcome my challenges, the friends to rejoice or mourn with me , and an eternal perspective that guides my actions every day. I have been surprised every time I attend a meeting of elders quorum, I am surprised by the quality of the men around me. Men who study the scriptures and care for their wives and families. When my wife attends the Relief Society, she feels she is part of the largest women's organization in the world. We know we are learning the right principles here. We feel that through the Holy Spirit. If you ever need more strength or security, you can always turn to the scriptures, specifically the Book of Mormon. I know that this book is true, it teaches about Christ and his role with us on earth. It teaches about the resurrection and how we can be forgiven of our sins and obtain peace and happiness on earth.
