Great food and atmosphere

Horrible experience. A shame the menu is so good, however their manners are the worst. We went on a group of 16 people, the children where in a separate table. One of the managers or owner, had the boys removed from their table while some of them where still eating since they had customers waiting for a table. Instead if going to our table and at least ask, they just asked them to stand up. Every kid had their own meal and were paying for it. I asked the lady that seemed to be running the place why the reason to be that rude and the answer was "it is not a big deal". Wow, that is customer service. I assigned one star just because otherwise I cannot leave my review. I would not recommend this place at all. It is clear they have become so popular with local customers and don't care about treating people right. Not sure what is the real trigger to behave like this, but only the mindset of some middle class people is that city that think are above and are better than the rest of the people. Just incredible this kind of attitude. I would not ever go back again nor recommend this place.

The food is excellent! A very friendly homey atmosphere. One or two of the owners is always present. The bakery is outstanding! the apple turnover is delicious so is the coffee cake! try the poblanos stuffed with chilaquiles.
