View from hotel is fantastic
It is nice even thou is basic but a good inexpensive hotel in Taxco which is a very nice tourist place . The silver town as it is know is only 3 hours byt bus from Mexico city. Nice safe route and it is always a middle stop on the way to Acapulco. Abeautiful town with very nice Spanish arquitecture and a the beautiful patron of Santa Prisca it is a site to visit in the main zocalo. People friendly and helpful too.
The view is unbeatable. The location is only a five minute walk to the main square. However the mothball smell in the rooms made me sick and there was no hot water. The first room we were in did not have a toilet seat. With all the mediocre things I could have scored lower, but the building is charming, the owners are delightful and very sweet, and the rooftop space is to die for.
For the avid backpacker this is a very good economical choice. Nothing too fancy, but it has decent beds, kitchen and terrace with a nice view of Santa Prisca. It's quite a large place and has a nice and practical layout.
