I bought the most beautiful artwork here. I don't know the artist's name, but if you go up the stairs and turn right his stall is one of the first ones. This man is incredibly talented and when I returned to Mexico City a few years after I was originally there I came back to Coyoacán just to buy another painting from him.

I feel this place represents the Mexican culture at its it's best, so much artisanal pieces, with so much color and beauty. almost every piece is done by hand and the quality of the craft is outstanding. this I find to be the best place to buy souvenirs, real mexican made things, colorful and iconic.

The best place if you want to buy mexican souvenirs,with fair prices. A lot of the products are hand made and artisanal, the best store is "Talam" very original items brought from Chiapas and Oaxaca, from indigenous communities, so is pretty authentic.
