I do not understand the high rating. We did not like anything we are, the eggs were over cooked, beans had no flavor, chorizo was too dry snd spicy, and on and on. To avoid at all cost

5 stars for the old-house ambiance with period photography. However, other than the decent cafe de olla and inexpensive prices, the breakfast food has not much going for it. Melted cheese with mushrooms was absolutely tasteless, no one finished their chorizo plate, etc... nice for a coffee or tea. Maybe lunch/dinner is better?
