It is a beautiful magical town that comforted stepping on its red lands and looking at its beautiful Maguey plantation and tasting its coquitas with alcohol is the best thing I recommend coming to visit.

Parish Church of Señor San José. Los Altos de Jalisco has distinguished itself as a region of monumental sacred buildings, and its bell towers are its hallmark. Three bodies plus a domed finish (drum, cap and lantern) are the most outstanding architectural formula or archetype. However, the town of San José de Gracia, Jalisco, far surpassed its great competitors in the level of detail in the race to reach the sky. Although their height places them in fifth place (with 60 meters), the level of detail in their bell towers crowns them by far as the most ornate. Repetitive pillar bodies with smooth shafts supporting cantilevered cornices that twist in and out like rollers, displaying geometric moldings, flowers, cupids, medallions and panels. These, in turn, are replicated in three bodies that, as they reach the sky, reduce their dimensions, generating an effect of higher altitude, until ending in the most elaborate lantern surrounded by numerous cauldrons, which supports a monumental cross arranged on the orb .
