I highly recommend “Dental Planet” to anyone visiting or living in the area of Guadalajara – Zapopan, in Mexico. The dentist, Francisco J. Balcells Aguilar, who speaks English, is very efficient, honest, kind, and accommodating, and he does a fantastic dental work. He is very professional and uses the latest and most advance dental techniques. The prices are reasonable. His office is very friendly, clean and has quite a pleasant environment ---a fantastic selection of relaxing music. My husband had a dental emergency while traveling in Guadalajara, and the dentist was very helpful and always available. He offered various options, and explained each one of them in detail. We were so relieved to be in his care. He solved my husband’s urgent problem right away. We are very pleased with his services.

I needed to have some dental work done in a very quick period of time due to my travel schedule and even though I came in to the office during the week of Semana Santa Dr. Balcells pulled out all the stops and got the work done on time and in a very professional manner. I never doubted for a moment that I was not getting the best of his and his staff's time and efforts. I couldn't be more pleased with the results. After the filling of a wisdom tooth by Dr. Francisco Balcells, I began to feel annoyed with dental pain, which I notified the doctor about. It turned out that a pulpitis developed underneath the freshly put resin, and the doctor suggested that I remove the tooth. After the extraction, the pain decreased a little but it never went away, so I contacted the doctor again. I told him that my upper and lower teeth hurt. The doctor checked the scar on his tooth, said everything was fine without taking any x-rays, and sent me home. The pain was still bothering me and I decided to go to another dentist who then-then took an x-ray and found the source of the pain - acute pulpitis in a tooth that developed under a resin that dr. Francisco 2 years ago. As pulpitis was already irreversible, I had to have root canals. Due to the "professionalism" of Dr. Francisco Balcells I had to suffer from dental pain for almost a month and have many extra expenses.

There are several consultations and in each one, both with Dr. Francisco, Dr. Laura and Dr. Edgar, I feel kind and very professional attention. I come from quite far to the office but it is worth it because I feel sure of the quality of the service. Also the attention at reception is friendly and professional.
