Rosas & Xocolate Boutique Hotel + SPA

Lovely breakfast. They follow all the pandemic procedures, they have live music and very good food. Ordered huevos motuleños and wasn't disappointed. We would definitely go back! Outside seating area is perfect for dog watching!

I hate to do this. But so many mediocre points about this “high end” restaurant in Merida. 1. Server who doesn’t know enough about drinks/wine. He could barely open the bottle of wine. 2. The pulpo appetizer. Did not have the ingredients they mentioned in menu— no habanero. And also the octopus was fried to a crisp removing any flavor besides “fried.” 3. The duck.. so sad. No flavor. Prepared in a French style, but I’d recommend sticking to what you know. You don’t have to be new-French. Do what you’re good at. 4. The ambiance.. a guy workin on his computer next to the grand piano. Music was poor. Lighting is bad. Sorry guys. I’m not picky. But if you’re going to be the “best restaurant” in Merida, there are going to be eyes on you. The best place I tried in Merida (so far, I still have 3 weeks left) was Oliva.

Pretty place. Terrible service at the restaurant. Sat for 15 minutes and waiter kept ignoring us without taking our order or even bringing water. Limited menu. Good reviews were from a better time.

Great owner creates a great boutique hotel with a delightful dining experience. Ample outside dining and friendly staff.

We had 2 times pasta and 2 beers and paid over 50USD!!! And also, they ripped us off with the tip!!!! Pasta was Overcooked & VERY bland and tasted like nothing Will never come back
