I can only tell you my story. I came to Mexico thinking i had a little infection. Turned out I had a hernia. I quickly received a consultation followed by an ultrasound. We decided surgery was the best option since the pain was not manageable. From the minute I entered the hospital till 48 hours later when I left; I cannot say enough. Everyone, From the people keeping my room clean and sanitized, to the nutritionists to the food delivery people to the nurses to the doctors were top notch. My surgery was performed by Dr Mariana Esteva. She and her entire crew were amazing. Great bedside manner. Time was taken to explain everything. I never felt like they were in a hurry to move on. I wish I could personally name and thank everyone. This will have to suffice. My partner and I have been debating a move to Mexico from Indonesia. The medical care here added another to the plus column for Mexico. Gracias, Liam

Way overpriced and unorganized for what you dont get in return. They wanted 5k just for a single night and single test that didnt include any food, consistent check on ya, internet in hospital, nothing and they really struggle with the English here being in An english speaking funded community here highly reliant on greater Americans. They couldnt bill u properly either or understand u wanted to fill ur prescriptions there, nothing total embarrassment here. Trust me guys way more stress and unqualified service that u dont want to deal with here especially for the price.

I felt safe and trusted my care givers... the doctors were young but very professional... I crie . when I had to leave for a transport plaine... Trust your instincts

On February 6th, while vacationing in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, my husband became gravely which resulted in him being taken by ambulance to San Javier Hospital where he was admitted to the intensive care unit. Had it not been for the excellent care and compassion of Drs. Rios and Hernandez and the entire intensive care team, I am certain I would’ve been returning home alone. I can’t say enough about the Doctors, the nurses, the physiotherapists and all the staff we were in contact with. The Hospital was to the highest standard of cleanliness, the equipment was state-of-the-art, the care was second to none and the food, fantastic. The words thank you are simply not enough..
