Secrets The Vine Cancun

I stayed here with my mother in January 2020 for 7 days and it was the best vacation we have ever been on (we've been to Mexico resorts for 10+ years). The most clean rooms we've seen at a resort and the staff were always looking to assist you. Pools and beach were beautiful and drinks were amazing! They did not hold back on alcohol at all. Best Italian and Steak restaurant I've been to in an all inclusive. I'm already dreaming to go back there every year! Only negative was that the walls are fairly thin and we heard our neighbors partying at night. I really cannot say enough good things about this place. Go already, it's truly a dream vacation!

My husband and I spent our honeymoon here, and while we’ve traveled a lot, we’ve never experienced anything close to this level of service. Everything is so catered to each guest that it makes you feel like the most important person on earth. It’s truly a wonderful place. Everyone is incredibly friendly, upbeat, and happy. It’s contagious and very refreshing. We were especially impressed with Alex (25th floor), as well as, Alejandro, Adrian, and Vicente who went even more above and beyond to make our stay extra delightful. I highly recommend Secrets, The Vine. They’ll treat you, think of you, and take such good care of you.

WOW! Where do I even start?! This was not my first all-inclusive resort but it has definitely become my favorite. I was hesitant on booking Secrets The Vine due to the high cost but it IS worth it! If you are contemplating this resort, do yourself a favor and BOOK IT. I was treated like luxury my entire stay. The staff was so kind, very attentive, and treated us very well. You can tell they are treated well and love working at Secrets. My husband and I brought in the New Year with Secrets and was so glad we did. They did an elegant New Year's Eve dinner and put on a whole show outside in the pool area. If you are looking for relaxing luxury, this is your spot. All restaurants are open, including buffets (there are servers handling the food). You can order food poolside, room service and much more. When eating at the restaurants, do note that there will be a wait; nonetheless the food is very fresh and delicious. The drinks are top shelf liquor. The beach front is clean and beautiful. We upgraded our room to a preferred suite and could see the entire strip from our balcony. During your stay, treat yourself to a complete spa experience (dry sauna, wet sauna, ice bath, jacuzzi, & full body massage). We will definitely be back.

Decent location. There cleanliness was excellent. The rooms where slightly above average. I regret not checking to make sure my room had a bathtub. The common areas in the resort where elegant. I was disappointed that their Mediterranean restaurant was not Mediterranean food. What ruined it for me was not just the spa scheduling staff but the facts that an argument arose before our spa services where rendered and management did nothing to remedy the matter. I regret spending anytime in the spa. It’s not about the money but the principal. I do not look forward to returning to Secrets the Vine. To summarize, Secrets The Vine is more of a weekend getaway resort rather than a week long stay.

So much to love about this place. The hot tub doesn't close at night, that's just awesome. Great food (still has a lot of things at the buffet that are not good, but that is everywhere). Great easy going, friendly staff. Clean and orderly. Perfect beach. When we went it wasn't too busy, I'm not sure how it would be at capacity but I'm sure they'd handle it.
