DO NOT GET GAS HERE! They are thieves and they will steal from you. We were set up- we were in line at one pump and there was an attendant who was forcefully insisting that we went to his pump. So we backed up and went to his. We got there and another man came and took over. The total was 637 pesos and my husband gave him a $500 bill and the rest in change. The man turned for one second and flipped a $50 bill in place of the $500 and then started demanding the rest of the money. We counted our money for the day and brought one $500 bill so we know for certain we gave it to him. While he was counting our "change" from the new bills we gave him, his hands were shaking. So sleazy and dirty. Dude must go home with a lot of extra cash at the end of the day.

Be very careful of this place, if you pay cash watch what you give the gas attendance. If you are not paying attention they will swap a bill on you and act like you gave them a smaller one, also do not use the ATM in the 7-11 it took my card and did an additional transactions with out my authorization, for almost $800 USD, luckily I caught it in the parking lot and called my bank immediately and stopped the transactions

SCAM gas station, stay away. They pretend the credit card machine is down. If you pay dollars they give you a terrible exchange rate. If you pay in Pesos, you better count and double check carefully

DO NOT PAY CASH !!!! Or count your money and make the guys count with you in your hands before giving him your money. The guy switched a $50 Pesos with a $500 Pesos, then acted like I shorted him. Keep in mind that I had another guy at another Gulf Station between Playa Del Carmen and Tulum trying the same exact same trick. I was not fooled the first time and I was definitely expecting it the second time.

Count out your money in front of the guy or insist on using a credit card. I gave 5 bills of 200 pesos after refusing credit card payment and he said I was short and he counted back 4 bills. I second guessed myself but realized miles later he pulled a fast one. He was quick with his hands. Gulf is the new owner previously Premex. I went there because of the familiar name and got conned.
