In case tourists need help from the government for example when passport is lost, there you get a relative quick help in english.

My son lost his wallet and with it his IDs, which is why he could not take his flight back home. He was told by the airline that he would have to keep a record of the Public Ministry, when he went to process it, he was charged $ 845 and without issuing an official receipt. It is outrageous that tourism is served that way. There is no desire to return. The authorities are corrupt.

Do not report. The worst experience was the complaint, it was worse than the robbery ... the managers smoked and their goal was to keep the evidence "my stuff" full of helplessness because they made me go every day to tell me is not ready yet. After so much insistence and having to wait for them to leave work because they didn't finally show their faces, the manager knew that he wouldn't stop and he treated me in just 30 min. Cancun is corruption and I will never recommend this country.

They take a long time to attend, they don't have a phone number to communicate with, you can't make an appointment to file a theft report.
