Desire Riviera Maya Pearl Resort

Wife and I just returned from our first time at Pearl and had an incredible time. EVERY staff member, from the front desk staff to the landscaping crew, was absolutely wonderful and really went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. The Play Makers (Yuni, Candace, Kia Charlie and Cesar) kept the days interesting by coordinating activities and the pool side staff (Miguel, Victor and Vincent) made sure we had seating, shade and drinks in hand. My wife loves fresh coconut water and Javier went out of his way to check in with us daily to make sure she had a fresh coconut. If you do decide to buy a membership, please go talk to Jorge Ochoa. He was one of the most friendly and helpful Sales Coordinators we have met.

Once you vacation here, you won't want to vacation anywhere else in Mexico. The service is impeccable and the food is better than any resort I've ever been to. Not to mention a one of a kind experience.

We had heard how great Pearl is and finally had the chance to see for ourselves. We were not disappointed!! The grounds is kept so beautifully! Little touches of awesome were everywhere! Our room was very nice and it was an oceanview room. Not a suite or anything crazy but very nice. The young lady who cleaned out room was wonderful! The staff!!! There aren't words to express how great they are. We didn't want for anything. They were so nice and on top of everything. We celebrated our anniversary and they treated us like VIPs! Thank you to all!! Vincent, luis, the entertainment staff.. I know I'm terrible with names but thank you so much!

We love the environment but we have issues with our membership. The resort asks for you to buy into the concept and get a timeshare membership which is supposed to come with some extra attention. We always ask for the Seahorse building months in advance of our arrival and can't get it. Then we arrive and ask for chairs at the fun end of the pool and get put at the opposite end where no one sits.The resort has slowly been getting worse every time we go with the entertainment, drink quality, food and the massage class hosted by Rich & Lauren which they've done away with all together. They offer red bull for the caffeine but only sugar free. That's very silly to only offer sugar free. The resort has several bars but the bottle selection is different at all of them. The icing on this cake is on our last trip (August 5 to August 11 2020) we met friends and tried to have 5 couples at dinner for their anniversary but for some reason we had to argue to get that many people at a table. Their anniversary turned out good anyway but as members we should never have to ask for the property manager to resolve the issue. We are considering canceling our membership and finding somewhere else to vacation. We're reserving this judgements for now to see if management contacts us to resolve our concerns. For any Premier management or Desire management staff member who may be reading this, time is ticking for a response.

Great place for the inhibited. Staff is very friendly and food is fantastic.
