Aventuras Denali

We had an amazing time climbing Peña de Bernal yesterday with Mayerli & Alfredo. Our group of 4 ranged in age from 15-51, and in experience from no climbing at all to a 5.11 climber. It was challenging yet do-able for all of us (a bit easier for the more experienced one in our group, but still an amazing experience especially given the location so high above the town). Mayerli & Alfredo were professional, patient, and pleasant, and met each person at the place they were at - helping our least experienced person overcome fear of heights, while explaining more technical points to our experienced group member. Climbing Peña de Bernal was the highlight of our trip to the Sierra Gorda - in fact one of my most memorable experiences in travel to date! - and we will definitely book with them for other experiences in the future.

We climb the Peña de Bernal along the Bernalina route, which is multi-layered and requires professional and certified equipment. This company sent us the guide Alfredo Pérez, who in addition to having a lot of experience and technical knowledge about the equipment, the route and safety measures, was very kind and took the time to explain the whole plan, also in English, to be sure that we all understood well what we were going to do. It is a tour that we will definitely repeat. Highly recommended!
