We had just been to Europe and had seen so many amazing buildings. This church, even though it was never completed, is every bit as amazing. To see the structure that is built and stand there and try to imagine what it would have looked like finished? Well I am a home builder so maybe I had a better time than most, but it is a must see.

Found this unfinished temple while wandering in Mascota village. Quite a history lost in rural Mexico! Definitely did not expect to find anything of this proportion in such out of the way village up in the mountains... The mixture of unfinished architecture, with nature growing around, makes it a great place to stop by, reflect on the moment, enjoy the light and take some cool pictures.

This is a very nice place of a cathedral that was started but never finished. It would have been enormous. Still, even the unfinished structure is very impressive.
