VMC Vallarta Medical Center

I was a patient here 2 weeks ago. I had to have neck surgery. It was the nicest and cleanest hospital i have ever stayed in. The nurses and aides and doctors were all excellent. My room was huge and nicely decorated and spotless. My nurses told me if i needed anything to ring the bell and they would be right there. And they were! It was nice and quiet so i was able to slepp at night. Thats never happened before. An Aide did wake me up in the night while changin my saline and apologized for it! Wow. I would highly recommend this hospital and the cost was less then half of the cost at CMQ. Also had a bad experience with a specialist at CMQ 3 years ago. I will never go back there. I would give Puerto Vallarta Medical Center 10 stars if i could. Thebk you so much!

Visited the emergency room for rash that was spreading. The doctor attended me immediately and referred me to a dermatologist next door. Amazingly she refused to charge me the consult fee (completely unheard of in the US) because she didn't actually great me. Highly recommend. All the staff airways excellent English and the faculty is very clean.

Excellent staff and clean modern facility. As a tourist, I needed emergency care, which went extremely well. Relatively similar in service and high tech in comparison to American hospitals. Cat scan, specialists in all medical conditions, including my gastroenterologist . Very approachable staff who are sincerely interested in patients, including tourists. Most staff speak English.

I went here to see my doctor who has an office in their tower on the second floor. The entrance isn't clearly marked and there is no handicapped ramp. Instead their is a small door and a big step to get in. This is very difficult in a walker and would be impossible in a wheelchair. Once I got in, the service was great!

My wife's care was excellent, and the Dr. performed to standards we would expect at home. Our problems center upon being asked for a deposit at intake before any sort of care could be performed. The almost $2800.00 deposit taken still is billed to our credit card. No statement of care, invoice, or bill was ever given, and we have tried for four months now to get a claim that we can submit to our insurance.
