It is an insurmountable experience. The place is wonderful but without a doubt, the difference is made by the team of guides with which one goes. It is not advisable to go without a guide, since physical integrity and even one's life can be put at risk. We went with the Carneros adventure tourism agency. The guides put the whole wave and seek enjoyment, minimizing the risk

Of the best places I have been able to visit, it is more advisable to visit in the summer in case of not supporting icy waters at this time. And go up the mountain and thus enjoy the river down, but it is up to you.
