Beautiful construction, although it can only be admired from the outside

This temple from 1639 preserves two beautiful marble reliefs at the top of each portal, the first representing the Annunciation and the second, the martyrdom of San Lorenzo. The temple was completely looted and had various uses until it was rescued by José Vasconcelos in 1921.
