Beautiful church with lots of gold

This church have the altar cover in gold leaf, and was build by the miners of Guanajuato. The whole church is beautiful. The front facade is spectacular!

Amazing place. Gold must be dusted with air. I understand they do not want to clean it to preserve it. However the place needs help.

Amazing spiritual place. So peaceful to sit and admire the altar pieces and the craftsmanship. The sad story of how families were forced into slavery for mining all these precious rocks, gold and silver
