Very traditional church, baroque architecture from the time of the colony. Very good outdoor area, beautiful garden, maybe a little more care and flowers to be a hundred. Very classic interior, many religious motifs and the central place of the patron saint. Very nice place to visit even if you are not religious. Very relaxing visit. I recommend.

Located next to the Cuitlahuac macroplaza, in the center of the Iztapalapa mayor's office, the San Lucas Evangelista Parish is a very representative temple of said mayor's office. It is dedicated to San Lucas Evangelista, considered together with the Lord of the Holy Sepulcher or Lord of the Cuevita as patrons of the town of Iztapalapa. Its patronal feast is celebrated on October 18. In 1932 it was decided to declare the Temple as a colonial monument at the request of the H. Commission of Monuments and Natural Beauties.
