I have been to a few different AC properties and I am enjoying my stay at this particular hotel. The staff are really good from housekeeping to the kitchen to the reception.
This is one of the few Marriott hotels where my requests prior to arrival were completed as requested. My extra towels and pillows were awaiting in my room upon arrival.
I really like the decor and the room layout at this property. A suggestion I think the lobby furniture could be placed more efficiently. All the menu QR codes should be on a wall near the restaurant and in the elevator so that guests can scan all the codes at once.
The gym is really well equipped. The Apple computers in the lobby are fast and efficient. The view from almost all of the rooms is really good. Parking is included for guests. There is an outdoor shopping mall behind the hotel easily accessible on foot.
I liked seeing the hand sanitizer in the elevator. Practically and economically it makes sense for the hotel and the guest... as it's easy to monitor, refill and ensures that every floor has some hand sanitizer.
I really like the bedroom for the view, the moveable furniture and the private bathroom are really nice compared to the other AC hotels that I have stayed. The hotel has no suites but it doesn't need any because it's very comfortable for one or two people. I like all the TV channel options in Spanish and English. I can connect my laptop through HDMI cable directly to the TV which is appreciated and useful. The coffee maker and mini fridge are perfect for my needs. Bed is the AC standard and is very comfortable. One improvement for the showers and bathrooms... I would like to see a more economical and environmentally friendly bulk soap option.
As a Titanium guest I had the choice of one time 500 points or breakfast for two daily. The 10 USD credit has been replaced with the breakfast for now which is a reasonable substitute for now especially if I book the lowest rate. If you are not a Platinum member or higher it's better to book the rate with the breakfast included. I feel at home here and will likely come back to this particular property. I hope to see further improvements but overall I think guests and especially Marriott members are receiving good value at this property
We stayed here for over 2 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed it. We didn’t even want to leave. Dinorah , Alfredo, Roberto and another bellman (regretfully I forgot his name ) that worked diligently making our vacation relaxing and comfortable. Dinorah made sure both of our rooms were together for easy access to our family. Roberto was of great assistance and went above and beyond his call of duty in making sure our needs were met. We miss him ! The property is properly maintained and they take covid precautions very seriously like strategically placing hand sanitizer dispensers in common areas like elevators and lobby etc. Security is also taken seriously by locking doors after a certain time, not being able to gain access to floors your aren’t staying on and not allowing delivery drivers like Uber eats or Rappi to gain access to guest floors. I never once felt unsafe on the property. Room service is fast , delicious and warm. The housekeeping staff cleaned thoroughly and efficiently and took great care and professionalism in their duties. They made you feel at home and did a good job in predicting our needs. The complimentary bottle of water they distributed were very thoughtful and definitely lifesavers :) the rooms have sweeping views of Guadalajara, beds and pillows were comfy and towels were super absorbent and fluffy. The shower size was great in relation to The size of the room. The rainfall shower head was super refreshing and great for rinsing and shampooing. The furniture was practical, moveable and comfy. Many thanks to the staff that Assisted in making our family vacation memorable in spite of it being a pandemic. They represent Marriot well! We have zero complaints! I wish I remember everyone’s names to give a special thanks to all :)
PS- Also it was great getting complimentary welcome points for members.
Our first time here. Very nice and elegant place with a lot of close by shops and places to eat. Prices are reasonable and place is chic. Also has great views! I would stay here again.
Service was superb!! From the rooms to the restaurant to the employees taking care of you. Look for Janeth for an amazing service at your dining experience. She's very professional, dedicated, talented and detail oriented! She took very good care of intolerance to lactose and gluten allergy by making suggestions as to what was available for me in and out of the menu. If there's someone we need in the industry, it's more people like her!!
Hotel has very attentive personnel. The breakfast buffet is not diverse in options but it has the classic ones (eggs, hot cakes, spicy sausage) plus a nice fancy touch with several quiches and Spanish tortilla. Had breakfast with a vegetarian coworker and even though they didn't have vegetarian options other than cereal and fruit, they could prepare him a salad to have a proper breakfast. Rooms are super clean and the cylindrical form factor of the tower has a huge advantage over the traditional hotels: helps block noise from the elevator if your room is not close to it. Also, I required a private driver and the hotel was happy to find one for me.
