I received excellent care at the Cuz Roja Hospital after I fell and broke my wrist and I needed to have surgery. The staff were very professional and helpful and the facility was spotless! I was very glad to get my care at Cruz Roja.

I broke my thumb 6 weeks ago, and talking with my doctor in Playa del Carmen, knowing that I would be in Merida when it was time to get the cast off, he said the prices in Merida were very expensive. He put the idea of the Red Cross in our minds, and we're very grateful that he did. We did a walk in style appointment and the specialist was able to see us right away. They went over the x-rays that we had gotten else where(because we didn't know they did them there), and immediately eased our minds when he proclaimed I did not need further surgery!! They cut the cast off, and I returned the next day to begin P.T. The professionalism and the cost are above and beyond what I could have hoped for. I will be donating to the Red Cross now for life. Thank you for your service.

Nobody respects a healthy distance here. Outside and inside. They should mark the ground so that people stay in line with enough distance and that the guards see that the distance is respected. If you have an appointment with specialists it is useless because you will always wait 3 hours. The waiting room is full of people and although a chair is blocked for distance it is not enough for healthy distance. The red cross has to see how to fix this. I don't always stick around because I feel at risk.
