Hotel Posada Casa Regia

Lovely Mexican traditional hotel. The decor is filled with detail and the whole place feels very cozy. This is a very cheap hotel, so the finishes are on the low end, but the overall experience was very pleasant. The one thing you should be very aware of is that there seems to be no A/C so if you're coming in the summer, you might too look somewhere else

The rooms are acceptable but what you DO need to pay attention to is the reception staff. We rented a room last weekend for a day with a view to staying longer, depending on the result of some errands we came to this city to do. The employee who received us (Sunday October 4th / 20, at 3pm) was an attentive and kind person, he allowed us to spend a moment on the terrace since my aunt felt a bit unwell from the trip and felt a bit hot. Later, around 9pm we decided to leave the hotel for dinner. At that time they had already changed shift at the reception. He was a dry charal-looking guy apart from his bad face and with very bad manners when we left the key on the counter (since you have to leave it if you go out) he asked if the room was already vacated. We replied that we had the room until the next day since we paid what they charge for that time. With all rudeness he said that he could not be leaving according to what 'for safety' .. He also threatened to report his partner for having allowed us to spend a moment on the terrace ... This is a complaint that as a guest I want to tell the owner of the hotel: It is assumed that if you are paying for a service, the least we expect is to be treated with respect by employees since we never behave improperly. Seeing that rude attitude of the night shift employee, we decided not to return because we did not feel comfortable with that kind of mistreatment.
