City Express Reynosa

Came with the family for two days, upon entering the first room it had a very strong smell of sewer, went to reception they said they had no more rooms, asked for a refund and then magically a room became available, got moved there, even worse, air conditioner unit was extremely loud, shower water was warm at the best and there was no pressure, had to take a shower leaning on the wall, went down to reception (the phone was also not working) and they said maintenance started at 10am (it was 7am) and there were no rooms available for us to move again, so at the end they didn’t do anything and said a refund was not possible since the beginning, maintenance person eventually came and said it was only this room which had a problem and should get moved...

Worst stay ever, been here a few times before and choose to stay here again because it was a pretty decent hotel, unfortunately this time it seems they have done a extremely bad job at keeping the hotel decent, it smells very bad and stains on walls. Definitely will not use it again.

Quiet and clean. It has a parking lot next to it. It. There is a Mall very close but I didn't go there, everyone advise me not to go out in Reynosa so I rather stayed at the hotel.

Pros: accessible entrance, gated parking, amazing showers with great pressure, friendly and accommodating staff, late check out for registered guests, big window with plenty light coming in, ice, hot water, coffee, and tea at lobby, vending machine with toiletries and snacks, again, the staff was amazing. Cons: some bad bulbs, some bad fixtures, nothing that dampened my stay.

Good service. Great staff, clean rooms.
