BioDental Clinic

Just prior to visiting South Padre Island in January 2017 a tooth broke off at the base. My own dentist in Minnesota couldn't see me for three months. When I arrived in S Padre I called BioDental and was able to get an appointment in two days. On my first appointment Dr. Ramirez assisted by another DDS and a dental assistant evaluated my situation, did complete digital imaging, locally anesthetized with a computerized micropump (fantastic, no pain), removed my tooth and implanted a US Made Keystone PrimaConnex Tapered Implant. Following the procedure Dr. Ramirez drove me to the pharmacy directly across from the pedestrian bridge to the US. My pharmacy cost for antibiotics and pain meds was less than $20. I then walked to my parked car on the US side and drove back to South Padre. My care was wonderful. The technology was all first class and exceeded my experiences in the US. The total cost for Dr Ramirez work including diagnostics, extraction, bone graft and specialized upgraded implant was $850 US. I had no problems and healed very well. When I returned home my own implant dentist was able to order the parts that matched my implant, (the size he normally uses was slightly different) and after the required three month wait for the implant to become attached to my bone, completed the process. I was very impressed by the quality, personal care, wonderful teaching and a safe ride back to the border on a rainy afternoon. Highly recommended.

NOT RECOMMENDED, BAD DEAL! I am a patient of that clinic, call to make a new evaluation and examination, but at the time of answering you do not know if you call the clinic or another place since they choose not to "say hello and identify themselves" They hang up on you when you tell them the basics to They are not receiving a call and that has nothing to do with SECURITY, as they try to excuse themselves on the contrary, they do it so that they hang up on you and leave you talking on the phone. If that is the first impression, imagine how the deal will be in person. A pity that as professionals and years of university studies they do not know how to care for patients, I think they do not teach that at the University if they never learned it at home.

Very happy with the work of the doctors and the cutting edge technology. The resin looks like it's part of my tooth and the $ 50 price is not bad. I will go back to get fillings and cleaning. 100% recommendable.
