Parque Los Fundadores

Lovely spot for photos. Its beautiful scenery here. And fantastic sunsets as well

Unfortunately it was bad timing to try and see this park. It was all blocked off and we weren't able to access any of it. We could take some pictures from the outside but they mostly contained people doing work around the park. It's still a beautiful area and a nice beach to relax and spend the day. The playa del carmen sign wasn't there though and must have been removed during the construction that they are doing. Didn't look to be very far along while I was there so it might be a while before whatever they were doing is completed.

The beach is nice it self but is right next to the ferry so is not as great....the shopping center to get there is really nice...

It’s a pretty but touristy place which can get quite crowded if there’s no lockdown. And I think it looks more beautiful with a dramatic sky.
