I don't understand why they are even allowed to stop every car on the highway to sell their tour packages and spreading false information (like there would be long lines at chichen itza and our guide will take you through a short cut and don't go to this cenote go to their recommended one. Please don't fall for them. they are supposed to give general information and thats it . I regret stopping and wasting half hour of my day to them . Thought a good rest area for restroom break

They offered me a visit to x-cajum, a very beautiful cenote 25 minutes by car from Chichén Itza. The visit included a buffet lunch (which is fine), a life jacket, and a visit to the cenote.
