Beautiful tree house boutique hotel a couple of streets back from the good part of the beach. Mauricio who runs it is a wealth of local tips and one of the nicest guys you’ll meet. Highly recommend for price, quality and location. Close to the best eats, the beach and quiet at night.

Casa Mech is the perfect spot to enjoy Holbox. Located at walking distance from the center of the village where most of the restaurants, bars and beaches are, it allows to enjoy in a few steps a dinner or drinks. Mauricio, the owner of the house also rents bikes for a fair price so that reaching the more remote locations of the island like Punta Cocos or Punta Mosquitos is really easy. In addition to that, Mauricio has been a very kind host helping us with any request we had and accommodating us in any possible way. Finally, the house is nice (designed by Mauricio himself who is an Architect) and clean. Definitely recommended!
