Villas Palmar, Hotel

Don’t be fooled by good reviews, look somewhere else. Bunch of issues with the hotel: ongoing construction, they are building 2 new floors on top of the existing 2. Prepare for 9-6 all sorts of construction sounds (drills, saws, sledgehammer you name it); internet is not working in the room, no signal; water running from the roof every night, like a small waterfall right on your balcony, other than that we had issues with toilet not flashing and water shut off. All that happened during our week long stay. We left early for an other hotel.

Great value, perfect location, friendly people

Had a fantastic time in Holbox at Villas Palmar. Great hotel, close to beach! Room was very comfortable. Gazebo and swing chairs were just added. Kids enjoyed the pool and gazing at the stars at night from top patio! Can't wait to go back.

I believe this place is brand new. I reserved through airbnb and was a great experience although I do recommend for you to take a taxi from the ferry station to this location. The nice beaches are very close by so that’s a huge plus.
