El Camaleón Mayakoba Golf Course

I would probably get a 4 due to the high prices, but i need to accept also it is a PGA course for sure. Please stay on the fairways...

Top notch service. Best course in the area hands down. Played feb 12, 21. Service is unparalleled, course was in wonderful shape. A must play for golfers of any level.

I played El Camaleón on January 14, 2021 and I can tell you it is an excellent course. The course conditions, the service, and the facilities are all top level. It’s a pleasant and interesting 18 hole journey into the mangroves, over canals, across lakes, and through the selva forest. All of those things narrow the fairway on one hole or another, which gives this chameleon teeth. It isn’t brutal, but you have to keep your ball out of that forest, that canal, that lake, and the mangroves. Easier said than done for this golfer, but I really enjoyed the journey, despite losing a couple Titleists.

I played on 12/26, course is very nice but three of the greens needed a little help and I expected more to be honest as they play pga events there. I also played Ibertostar, much nicer

I purchased a day pass for the beach club $75usd. Perfect day! Outstanding food and service. Best part was 45min boat tour through the properties canals. Many species of bird and animals.
