Located right next to the municipal presidency of Santa Clara Ocoyucan, this cafe is a place you don't expect to get much from due to its small size and discreet presentation. However, this place is a little gastronomic gem for Santa Clara; for some time that I frequent this town I have been getting to know it slowly and being honest the last thing I expected was to find a cafeteria with such an interesting offer. It does not have much that opened, of course taking into account the date of this review; a really modest cafeteria from the outside with a subtle but pleasant decoration and proposal; its interior, being small, does not offer much space to eat, but considering that it is located almost in front of the Santa Clara plinth, this can be overlooked. Since we can order to take away and eat comfortably in the zócalo, enjoying the architecture of the town church, the municipal palace and its beautiful hills that provide a relaxing view. The offer of this cafeteria is varied starting with its succulent pizza, which to be honest is delicious, its hot-wing wings that just by looking at them make you want to eat a tray and their micheladas that are highly requested by young people from the community. Coffee, cemitas and some other things complement the gastronomic offer of the place; Talking with the owner / chef of the place, he told me that the recipes were brought directly from New York thanks to all the time he worked for that place so far from these lands. Today he is back in Mexico and he brought with him those recipes that delight New York palates to conquer the stomach of the Mexican. If you are in the area, do not hesitate to eat a good slice of pizza, some delicious wings or refresh the gañote with a michelada, I assure you that you will not regret it.
