Miguel was the best tour guide I have been with in Mexico. His English is excellent, he is very knowledgeable, and is very happy to answer all questions on the tour. It was amazing to go with him to Monte Albán. He made the experience at least x3 better than if you were to go alone or with another guide. I wish I could bring him to every tour in Mexico or around the world. It is very hard to come by good guides in Mexico or anywhere, Miguel is one of them. Don’t miss him.

Excellent service from the start - great communication by Miguel when I booked the tours. Hugo, the tour guide and drivers were very professional and friendly. The vans were extremely comfortable - one had leather seats and the other was quite new too. There was only 6 others on the tour to Monte Alban and 3 others in the tour to Mitla. The tour to Monte Alban was amazing.. the Mexican history is incredible and awe inspiring. We also got a demonstration of how they make wood carvings - alebrijas and the black pottery. Both were amazing. And the buffet was awesome - with a ton of moles and other traditional Oaxacan food. The other trip to Mitla was so much fun. I was blown away by the rug making process. These artisans are true craftsman - there is nothing today that is made with such quality using these raw materials, natural dyes and wooden machinery. Bows to these hardworking people producing such works of art. And the restaurant we went to served a 5 course meal for $170 pesos.. phenomenal meal. Highly recommend this company.

I wanted to go to Hierve el Agua but they didn’t pick me up because they couldn’t find me. So I went to their office and they explained to me that my address exists multiple times in the city. So I guess it’s fine, that can happen. Instead I went to Monte Albán which was good. It’s the cheapest way to get there. So I recommend it.

We did the Mitla y Hierve el agua full day tour which was great. It was quite expensive though (300 MXP) and costs more than is advertised in the menu section here. It also doesn’t include admission to the tree, Mitla, Hierve el agua or most lunch. So make sure you bring a lot of cash with you as you will be asked to pay for all those on top of the tour price.
