Azul Ixtapa

It is a great hotel. The service was amazing, plenty of activities for every one. The hotel was operating at 30% capacity, which is good. Social distancing was implemented as well as other precautions.

This place is outstanding. All extra Covid 19 precautions are being taken.. foot wash into each building, then hand sanitizer, all people are masked up. Even very small children wear masks. Those that rarely forget a mask are gently reminded. No buffet, it is now point and serve from behind shields. The food and service is unmatched. The employees are glad to be working..

I don’t believe that this would be ethical because I am employed there, not a guest or a client. Sorry I feel that this would be a biased review

Azul Grand in Ixtapa remains our favourite sun destination. Our experiences over the past four days just highlighted why this is our eighth visit here. The hotel is clean, quiet, and safe. The free activities like guided cycle tours, free kayak and snorkel to Ixtapa Island, and included Hobie Cat sailing are exceeded only by the friendly, helpful staff. Where else could you arrive at 6:30 PM after a long travel day, ask if we can get into the Mexican a la carte restaurant tonight and be told to come back at 7:00 because they have room to have us!

Facilities two maybe three stars... Beach - meh. Food mostly bad.
