Lago de los Gansos - Desierto de los Leones

No more swans. They have even changed the name to lake of ducks. Not much water either. Quite a bit of stairs to climb down from the market area near the ex-convent. Several picnic tables available where one call grill beside as well.

Loved this park, it's still with in driving distance of Mexico City! It looks surreal that such a beautiful place could be in the part of the city. Take an umbrella it always drizzling and it's really cold after 3:00 pm If you take a dog, bring a dry towel to dry them at the end poor things are from the cold.

It’s a nice walk and you can enjoy the forest. There are areas mexicans use to do bbq’s and are open to anyone in the public.

A very nice outdoor area, there are many benches for barbecues. The place on the lake is not very big but there are many places to eat on the main street. Around it is a whole forest and there are many people in all areas.
