Playa Las Coloradas

We drove about 5-6 hours to get here, and for the drive we were very disappointed. Like the other reviewer said, make sure it’s “pink season” before you go. If you for some reason are in the area anyways, go check it out, but it isn’t worth it to go far out of your way. When we got there they said we had to pay to see the pink water, but there was no pink water; so that felt a bit scammy.

The pink lagoon is nothing but an instagram trap, but the actual beach is gorgeous, a true paradise.

The reason I'm not ranking it in 5 is because right now is risky to go. Flooded roads and is not pink because of hurricane. Research prior to see if its "pink season"

Amazing town! Super clean, super friendly people and super safe! I fell in love of this town, it's people and it's nature. I will be back and stay a week at least. Thank you for having us and treating us so nice!
