TAGS ALPARGATAS

Bought a pair of Tags while in Mexico last year and then ordered four more pairs online this January to be shipped to the UK. The process was super simple, they don't have an online shop but I just got in touch via FB messenger and we sorted it there. Such wonderful designs and people - they will brighten my spring/summer here in the UK. Highly recommended! Check out their instagram for the latest!

This was probably one of my favourite experiences in Merida speaking with Mauricio about his business and the shoes was only the beginning. We had such a rich conversation about the history of Mexico, the ethnic and economic challenges that support the WHY behind his business model.

What a fantastic place! The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. The designs for the shoes are all custom and inspired by Mexico. Definitely should be on your list of places to check out whilst in Mérida.
