Rateros. I went to visit Chichenitzá and the tour guide told us about a Mayan liquor that was sold in that town. We entered and they wanted to sell me a bottle for $ 1,200 pesos. The seller told me what would make me a discount for being national and finally left it at $ 800. Already being back in my house, it occurred to me to look for it on the Internet to buy it again since the one already acquired was a gift. I leave the image of the liquor that is sold at walmart for less than $ 150. They are a few rascals, they don't buy anything in that town. They abuse the Faith of the tourists

TO FLEE! In search of Mezcal and Tequila we are welcomed by a real salesman, speaking French, English, Russian etc ... Good talker, he has humor and will not give you time to think. In the end he wanted to sell us the bottle of 70cl Mezcal Lajita at 3'200MXN! The price seemed so excessive that we first went back to the hotel to do some research and we did well. In Switzerland, the same bottle is sold 850MXN! A tip, go your way!

This shop seems to be a real gift shop. We were on a tour bus to visit Valladolid and Chichen Itza. The bus host takes us to taste tequila in this shop. We only had 30 minutes. The jewelry part is very varied and the jewels are very beautiful. The prices are exorbitant but the seller explains that it is because of materials (gold and precious stone) I look at a ring and the seller will not let me go. Finally I let myself be tempted and try to negotiate the price. It will first make me less than 20% because saying it is an offer for tourists of this bus tour. I ask him to give me a big discount if I take two and the price drops by almost half. I say weird but do not think we can dare to lie anyway seen the amount high. Finally I get the pressure the bus will leave I have to make a decision, more time to negotiate the price more or think. I am afraid to regret and finalize the transaction. I am given an old handwritten receipt that serves as a guarantee for life and when I ask for a certificate of origin weirdly we do not understand each other anymore. So I paid $ 480 for two rings. Later, I learn that the stone that comes from the cenotes and infuses a stone made in Turkey and that the Alexandrite stone is zirconium. And I have not yet check for the alloy white gold and silver but I feel that I will be disappointed even if the punches are present on the rings. In my opinion I paid the rings a little more than twice the price. I intend to return one day with my guarantee and my rings and we will see what he will tell me that day. Hoping that this comment can help other people.
