Expensive, yes, but it’s one of the only businesses in town with customer service skills on par with what you expect when you pay high prices in a US city. Not just friendliness, but thoughtfulness as well. Their bread is outstanding. Wish they had a 100% whole wheat option. Their seed loaf is probably nutritious enough for most diets, however, and all their products are delicious. Crispy, flaky chocolate croissants and such! Guaranteed to prevent ketosis!

Update: the lack of consistency is unacceptable so I am done with the place. DELICIOUS bread, tasty pizza. Inconsistency is their biggest issue! One day an iced coffee is made with one ratio of coffee to milk, next day there is way more milk. I was once sold an Eggs Benedict with one egg and when I asked they were like OH WOOPS we only had one egg (they then took it off the bill, though, without my asking). That was when they were newer and maybe had an untrained staff. I find the woman who seems to be the owner to be honest and super sweet, though. I do recommend.

So delicious freshly prepared food! The staff is very friendly and the location is beautiful! You should go there if you love breakfast.

Great quality baked good, especially their sourdough breads (75 or plus pesos) It's a bit expensive, but worth it for the quality. Very nice staff, english spoken, and they serve breakfast here, too. Good ambience and I recommend eating in the back or upstairs.

I live about an hour away from Merida and this is one of my go-to spots. It's a simple concept done in an elegant environment. They offer a range of fresh made breads and pastries and they also have a small but lovely menu of breakfast or brunch items. The food is really fresh and well conceived, the physical environment is absolutely gorgeous with a large inverted garden area for those who want to eat outside. Starting your day here, or coming here with your computer to work for a few hours while you drink any number of coffee drinks, is a great thing to do for yourself!
