The decor and setting is nice but for the price it is missing some basics (hot water, somewhere to hang clothes). The staff was very attentive and they let me check-in 6 hours early. But, I had a roommate in the form of a lizard living under the refrigerator.

A very clean, comfortable place to spend time in. We stayed three nights and every night was a pleasure. The staff were very attentive and friendly as well

This is the best place to stay in the area in the sense that, if you are American or Canadian, looking for all of the amenities that you are accustomed to back home, then you will find them here at a price not much higher than the eco hotel locations. The owner checked in with us at breakfast and after learning that he is American, I invited him to sit with us and we had a pleasant conversation. After a few days of speaking only Spanish in Quintana Roo, I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted with English at the Flycatcher Inn. During my week here in Yucatan & Quintana Roo, this is the only place that knows how to serve Whiskey.

Wonderful place! The staff is friendly, helpful and speaks some English. Beautiful garden, nice swimming pool and large and comfy rooms. The food was excellent for New Year’s Eve, and breakfast was great as well. Would definitely recommend this place!

Beautiful little B&B, perfect for exploring uxmal and other Maya ruins in the vicinity. We stayed for two nights. Our room was clean and lovely decorated, breakfast is good and the garden area with pool is amazing. Just ideal for relaxing after you've climbed those Maya pyramids in the Mexican heat :) there's cold beer available and some restaurants serving authentic food just a short walk away. If you're lucky you might meet James, the owner of the place. He can tell you about the local Maya ruins and even has some favorite spots that are not necessarily mentioned in your guidebook. Very recommended!
