Cenote San Ignacio

This cenote is fully underground. It's small but so beautiful! We went within an hour of its opening and that was the best decision! We were one of few people there. They have a nice heated pool, small park, hammocks, and a full restaurant and bar. The food was delicious!!! It tasted so authentic! It's better to get the food package to save money. We didn't get it and regretted it because we paid more than we would have if we would have purchased it. The mixed drinks were ok..... if you like beer I say stick to $40 beer over $120-150 drinks but that's just my preference. We know local prices so the mixed drinks were a little pricey especially for the alcohol content. Overall we loved it and will hopefully return one day soon!!!

Rodrigo was our waiter and he was very attentive, incredible food, the cenote is small but beautiful with crystal clear water, the water is a perfect temperature to swim and relax for awhile. Once you're topside in the hammocks sleeping off a fantastic lunch you're feel totally relaxed for continuing your week. A fantastic and inexpensive way to spend a great day recharging.

Visit was great. Arrived first around 10;30 am. Parked in the garage area, paid the 150 pesos entrance fee. Does not include 200 cash deposit for lockers. Cenote was a once in a life time experience a(first cenote in my life) we were completely alone in this cenote and it was so beautiful and scary at the same time. You could see the bottom of the water to see more rocks underneath the water was so clear, also kinda cold. Food and service was great. Pool and hammocks super relaxing . Shrimp was great and drinks. I got the maricuja mojito and dragon fruit .

Pretty small and a bit disappointing. Looks to me like the cave was “touched” by humans so that the bottom of the pool is even.

A little small but the water is great and the environment it super chill. Very beautiful scenery
