Hilton Garden Inn Tuxtla Gutierrez

It is a very comfortable place and the attention is very good I will always return.

This is not easy to get 1 star, but it's important to note why. Be your own judge of the stars based on their service. 1) the restaurant "ran out of food" before I arrived at 12:30 (lunch). Said to come back in a couple hours. 2) the pool "hasn't been cleaned in a while so you cant use it. Maybe we will clean it tomorrow" 3) came back for dinner. Waited 25 minutes for a menu to be brought out. After another 20 I knocked on the kitchen door to get them to come take my order. The entire time I didn't get asked if I wanted a drink, I had to come to the kitchen to ask for refills. 4) my room had a coffee maker with no coffee. The front desk said they didn't have any to give me. They also had no bottled water. I went to sleep thirsty and woke up tired. This was the worst Hilton I've ever been to, and completely out of character for their hotel chain.

It's the second time I'm here. Being honest, I visited just the buffet site. I has some food and drinks that you may like. Typical things and food. As far as I know, the cost is $125 Mexican pesos per person. The place is quiet and peaceful. You can be here with friends and family.

Not friendly at all. Didn't feel welcome at all.

we are very dissatisfied with the service at this hotel, with the name Hilton we are very surprised at our negative experience, we are seasoned travelers and just are very disappointed at what we came across at the hotel. . my apple air pods were stolen from the room, they were inside a drawer where my make up and underwear were so they had to be rummaging through our drawers. it was the only piece of expensive property that we did not put in the safe. when i realized they were missing i went down to talk to reception, they didn't seem interested and then took my information down and told we would be contacted, we left for two day trips and never received a call or message, when we came back i cleaned every inch of the hotel room and went through all my stuff in case they were some how misplaced although i know where i had left them. i them went back down and again was disregarded, basically told they asked cleaning person and they said they didn't take them , of course they are not going to admit to it. i had to ask many times for the general managers name and numbers they finally gave to me. i am beyond disappointed with this hotel, staff and experience. i do believe the Hilton name would be ashamed of such treatment of any guest. they only use a specific service inside their hotel for tours and taxi service, the prices are 4x higher than anywhere else and put guests in situation where they have no other options . shame on tis hotel and staff for their disregard to their guests.
