Used for land sale. Promised me tax receipts, which they didn't provide. Ghosted me as soon as the money was transferred. Assuming they actually paid the Mexican taxes, I'm paying the capital gains tax twice. Once in Mexico and once in Canada. I expected that a lawyer will keep their word.
