Hacienda Katanchel

As soon as you enter this place you get automatically disconnected from the outside world. This magical hacienda is hidden in the jungle 40 minutes away from Merida. The restaurant is amazing, Aldo the host, explains with a smile that the food is cooked with the ingredients found in the garden, and the chef is an artist. The rooms are separate little villas equipped with an outdoor cold water jacuzzi(highly recommended), hamacas and a coffee machine. Walking arround the garden is worth the trip by itself but staying the night is a magical experience for a very reasonable price.
