Perfect place to run around inside the stadium. Parts of the loop have shady trees for hot days. There is even a weights room open to the public. The free showers is an added benefits...and it is all for free. Does not get better than that.

Accidentally discovered this Art Deco gem on a run around Merida. If you are a fan of running, swimming, or 1930s architecture, come take a look. Looks wonderful bathed in the late afternoon sun.

Great sport's complex built just before the Second World War. It is only 2 km from my home, so I walk there frequently for walk or jogging, watching football game or play tennis. This year I watched Mexican Championship in synchronized swimming, something I would probably never see but it was free like everything in there except the pool, which is around 200 or 300 for two months. Highly recommend the place where you will find green and tranquil spaces in the middle of Downtown Merida.

I cannot believe how well used this place is. So many activities. All free or maybe small $ for group activities. Swimming, track and field, weights room with nice equipment, soccer, jogging path, so much more! Like hundreds of people working out. So awesome!!!
