Wyndham Merida

The hotel is like an old mansion that was remodeled and is now independent from Wyndham chain of hotels. It The service is good and rooms are comfortable. Due to Covid they do not clean your room until during your stay.They have a medium size swimming pool at the courtyard, and for breakfast they also have a small restaurant bar with a Starbucks ✈️👍💯 If you plan to go on an expedition and want to have breakfast there make sure to let them know the night before. They open kitchen at 7 a.m.

Very unpleasant experience. One of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed. Placed a do not disturb sign the day I got there and went out to eat, when I came back the sign was gone. So the next day I got another do not disturb sign, went out to work and when I came back the sign was gone. The staff when in my room to clean and left the door opened. It’s unbelievable how bad this hotel is.

Great rooms. It is quite. It is a little away from the main street, paseo montejo, but it is a nice location.
