The Cristóbal Colón University is a private educational institution, located in the city of Veracruz, Mexico. Founded in 1969 by Father Antonio Torrente Viver, it is part of a civil association that contains all educational degrees, from preschool to doctorate. It is administered by the Order of the Piarist Fathers. It currently has two campuses: Torrente Viver, in the city of Veracruz and Calasanz, in Boca del Río.

University belonging to the Order of the Brothers of the Pious Schools founded by San José de Calasanz. Its origin dates back to the old Colegio Cristóbal Colón (C.C.C.) which formed the C.E.C.C. Centro de Estudios Cristóbal Colón in the mid-1970s with the careers of Public Accountant and Business Administration. The Campus bears his name in honor of the remembered Antonio Torrente Cover (Father Chorrito) who laid the foundations for education and academic training.
