Hotel NH Veracruz

Deceiving. Not even the upgrade to the suite is worth it. Hotel seems to be initiating renovations, but there are no considerations for the guests. The hotel hosted a kids party, it was lovely to see folks with jeans and clothes in the pool. Poor customer service.

Well located, spacious rooms with a good view, the pool is not very big but it is comfortable and access to the sea is adequate. However the staff is very slow, my room had no towels and it took forever to bring them. At the reception very slow service, and it took a long time to receive my car. The breakfast buffet is bad and expensive. The air conditioning in the room was very noisy and not very functional: I either freezed or cooked. The hotel could be better if they paid some attention to detail.

Old hotel, restaurant prices are too high for what it is. I ordered a tampiqueña and very poor quality. What I have to grant them is that I asked that they change it and they changed it, but having to ask that they change it for quality, with the prices they handle, does not check. The disastrous bathroom, the fan did not work, the shower faucet did not work, it fell all the time. The sink is clogged! They need a LOT of MAINTENANCE! The pool is not cleaned, they do not put chemicals to vacuum it the next day, or anything like that, the water looks quite dirty. The towels that you ask for on the side of the pool, apart from that you have to sign a voucher, which is very normal, but you cannot take them to the room, we had a very windy day and then at least you hope to get to your room covered , when they ask you to leave them. If you are leaving a voucher for 300 pesos for towels then I'll see if I keep them! Apart from ugly towels, there are times when there aren't any and you have to wait! The best thing about it is the beach and the attention of the staff! Anyway I will not return and I do not recommend it! I forgot there are those from royal insisting that you buy them a filthy package, that there were a lot that fell under that tactic. Cheers
