US Consulate General in Guadalajara

I went to renew my passport, total time spent was around 90 minutes if you have appointment. Just make sure to find a good parking place near, and to not bring your cellphone cause consulate won't allow you to take it inside.

It's ok... If you need copies, passport pictures, to rent a room near the consulate or anything in that category there's a Visas Laser Libertad a few steps away.

CRBA Are activily being processed now got that and my sons pasport in 2 weeks.

They are somewhat profesional for what it is. My mother lost her passport on this trip to come see my grandma who passed away. We need to get an emergency provisional passport, so my single mom can return to her job and my 5 yr old and 11 yr old sisters. With almost no people at the time, they decided it's not an emergency and have only granted an appointment until almost 20 days from now. Horrible service from the officers in charge.

My brother was stuck down there without his citizenship papers after being mugged in Guadalajara. He went to this embassy to get back home safely. He is bilingual but slow due to a disability and because of this they questioned him and his legitimate US-born-citizenship repeatedly and made a joke of him and laughing at him. After verifying who he was and the fact that he was 💯 correct, he cursed them out and demanded they pay his ticket back home to which they did...embarrassingly. 😂 lol Chulada !
