Gran Café de la Parroquia

Always wanted to try this place out, today was THAT day and believe me when i say : you wont be dissapointed Excellent customer service ,some of the best coffee in the world and dishes to please the most demanding palate ( im one of those ) I would come back anytime im in veracruz Def recommend it 👍

A must visit if you're in Veracruz. Food is good. Prices are cheap. Try the Cafe Lechero. This is the original Parroquia, before it got divided. It has the original coffee machines. You'll find local people having meal in here. Food is very traditional. A great place for breakfast. You can notice the difference in colors of both restaurants. The new Parroquia is brown, the Gran Cafe Parroquia (older) is black and red. The younger one (brown) is more active and more people visit it, it has become a franchise now. They are very similar, but if you want to try the original, this is the place. Both are good to visit anyway. Problem with this one, is that being older, waiters are old men too, and service is kinda slow. Credit card is accepted. You can park on the street. Beware of parking meters, time really flies. There are also people looking after your car and asking money. That's not cool.

It's a great place, you can get a excellent coffee there !

Cheap, it is what it is. If you want diner food this is your spot. If you want great food, pick something else...
