Hotel Posada Coatepec

The restaurant has one of the best menus and kitchen in Coatepec! Must try the banana tacos with mole, the octopus with paprica and potatoes and the beef with blue cheese sauce. The service is kind, attentive, and fast. I really really loved it and 10000% recomend it!!!!!! Must try during your stay!!!!!!

Went to restaurant, there were only two tables occupied. Waited 45 min for Chilaquiles, they were cold, watery (I asked in advance for crunchy ones) and they added cream when I asked without it. Really disappointing because the place is really pretty

Excelente hotel Restaurant

Great location, leave your car and walk. I stayed at the "San Francisco" room and it was conveniently hidden, was very quiet, you can feel roominess, perhaps need more illumination, at least for me. Restaurant was delicious and portion was enough, bread was delicious, as well as capuchinos, best part is the decoration. Staff was great! Seat at the tables at the courtyard and enjoy a coffee, nice garden with a fountain and hear the bells from church at the next corner.

No excuse to miss this one. Now, one must forgive the rather old electrical and plumbing. I wish they had better contacts and switches. Same goes for the shower and toilet, it is not like the best for saving water. My bath room was a particular challenge to get in and out of it as the entrance is blocked by the wc. Rooms are great, so the mattress. The restaurant is excellent though the service is a bit provincial.
